This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Oh, forgot to add... the rebate is good from 10/2 to 12/31. Not sure how long the google checkout promotion or buy.com price or free shipping promotion will last.

    Only catch being you have to sign up for Google checkout, with that $10 off thing Buy.com is doing I'm sure they're getting a lot of sign ups though.

    Yea, I couldn't figure out how they're doing it. For $10 off and no reason not to sign on with google, I went for it. Are they trying to take a piece of PayPal's busniness maybe?

    I got the router in the mail today, nice and quick FedEx ground.

    The router set up nice and easy, but the wizard wouldn't let me proceed when I told it was hooking it up to another router. I just lied and told it I was hooking up directly to the modem and it couldn't tell the difference. Everything works nice and smoothly.
