Oh man, and I just bought one XPS 420 via their EPP. I'm gonna call them tomorrow and still try to get the difference...

This is the lower-end processor, right? Also, no LED. I'm not sure which deal is better.

 

Jerks...since the deal is in H&HO they won't refund me a dime. I'm working my way up the supervisor chain now.

Same company, same desktop, different price...I don't see the problem.

They said they'll contact me on Monday regarding this (EPP is usually good at calling back), and I told them that if this price difference does not go through that is exactly what I'll do.

Problem here is that I picked the PC up yesterday, so know they're going to try and rip me. I'd have to return and re-order.

 

They refunded me $50 when the price changed the next day, when I ordered my Vostro 1400. I wrote them an email...

 

You should get it back according to Dell's Price Protection:

i notice wsxga screen is a new option on the xps 1530

with just the eep? i'd be happy to get those specs for $898. i have an eep through work but with those specs, it still comes out over $1200. i could get a $919 option to pop up. it was $959. even still, with those specs, it's still more than a $40 difference. help?

 

Yes, the D830/D820 have it, and so do the 15.4" thinkpads.
I have seen the wuxga on the d830, and it looked nice, very crisp.

This is the best deal I have seen on the M1330.

 

hmm, the cheapest i can get it to is $974. the only thing i could downgrade was the color, cpu, and ram.

 

And the $20 blue tooth. But it looks like they increased the price by $100 overnight. Now I am coming up with $969.68
