As many of you know, Dell released their rare Special XPS deal. Well they just came out with another new deal. This deal is $400-500 off and may not be as "beefed" up as the other deals but are good starting points and more focused for ones who do not need all the "bells and whistles" this holiday season.

Jerks...since the deal is in H&HO they won't refund me a dime. I'm working my way up the supervisor chain now.
Same company, same desktop, different price...I don't see the problem. -
just cancel the order then reorder -
Problem here is that I picked the PC up yesterday, so know they're going to try and rip me. I'd have to return and re-order. -
They refunded me $50 when the price changed the next day, when I ordered my Vostro 1400. I wrote them an email...

You should get it back according to Dell's Price Protection:
For US Customers Only - Dell realizes that prices and components change very rapidly in the computer industry. As a courtesy, Dell's US Customer Service Division will issue a credit for any price drop greater than $50 within 30 days from the invoice date.
The amount of the price drop will be refunded back to you according to the original payment method (credit card, payment terms, etc.) within 10-15 business days.
This review must be requested by the customer; it is not generated automatically and is based on a component by component basis. -

with just the eep? i'd be happy to get those specs for $898. i have an eep through work but with those specs, it still comes out over $1200. i could get a $919 option to pop up. it was $959. even still, with those specs, it's still more than a $40 difference. help? -
