    Hey all!

Starting at midnight tonight Pacific Time (PT)

    newegg.com has:
a 15% Coupon (with code MEMORYSALE15) that entitles you take 15% off (up to $10) on all Desktop, Laptop, USB Flash Memory, Mac, and Server Memory.

    Source

Some deals ongoing right now to peruse using the coupon,(subject to change, of course):

Laptop Memory (if prices stay the same) at newegg
USB Flash Drive (if prices stay the same) at newegg!
Desktop Memory (if prices stay the same) at newegg! Server (if prices stay the same) at newegg!
MAC (if prices stay the same) at newegg!

I'm assuming it will work for Card Reader Flash memory (SDHC) also!

    Hope it helps someone! ;)

I'm so tempted to buy a 2gb stick of ram, but upgrading the ram on my new netbook is going to be a HUGE hassle... will have to void my warranty too :(

They need a 50% of 8GB sale lol. 8GB is sooo expensive right now im sad. Cool find though, if i was gonna take a change on that HyperX ram to improve my overclock this would be the perfect excuse todo it.

Ive heard it does, in both notebooks and desktops, though last desktop ram i had got hot. The only reason id recommend it is if your fsb overclocking but im not so sure the hyperx will overclock much better in a laptop. The stuff is good in desktop overclocking but in laptops not being able to up the ram voltage (on most laptops) holds it back.

Not a problem, im definitly gonna give it a shot when 8GB gets cheap, but for now the chance that it wont do any better then what Im doing now (800 @ 920Mhz) isnt worth the cash.

If your ram meets the Latency and Speed and Size of the ram you have now just stick with it. If you need more and more importantly if you can use 4GB of CL5 DDR2 800Mhz then its worth it, but if not overclocking might want something that runs a littler cooler depending on the computer in question. I run bottom off ontop of a cooler itll be cool enough not to harm anything lol.

actually you can up the ram voltage, but the main problem remains the heat and without a good cooling pad you'll be screwed
