I know this isn't a shopping site, but I came across a deal I know most people who regular this forum might be interested in. Right now Newegg is running a 15% off sale on several mouses (mices, Meeces) including the G500 (no G700). In addition, there is a $20 mail in rebate offered by Logitech. That brings the total down to $25.89. You do need to be a part of Neweggs spam email club to use the promo code: EMCKGKG23

This might be a sweet enough deal to yank a few of you away from your 4 year old MX518's!!!

What, I just got my MX518 two days ago, mailed the $15 rebate yesterday.

Too tempting to get this one...

I hate mail-in rebates, I trust that I will get my money, but the fact that it costs me $45 now and eventually I'll get my $20 rebate just kind of sucks. Much much much prefer instant rebates.

    That is sick.

That price is absolutely ridiculously low. It is SOOO low for such a great mouse.

Everyone reading this thread should go out and buy two Logitech G500's.. one for each hand.

    Just sick.

Tempting, but I've had bad experiences with Newegg's MIR. They told me that I didn't mail in the upc code and wouldn't even respond to my email when I tried to clear things up.

Damn all you people! I was too generous in sharing information and I didn't get one myself :(

Most all rebates are manufacturer's, so you'd actually be dealing with Logitech and waiting on them to mail you a rebate check. Quite a few rebates are now coming in Visa/MC/Amex form now days. Companies found out they could get the card companies to cover some of the costs with the fees they can collect.
