This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    As many, if not most, of you already know, Newegg frequently offers rebates as discounts for selected items and often in the form of prepaid Visa cards. For those who have taken advantage of their rebates, is Newegg generally reliable in providing the rebates? Are you satisfied with the prepaid Visa cards as rebates? Any problems with the prepaid card amount differing from the advertised rebate amount?
