I wonder what the worst refurbished drive's been through? Showing now at $139.99
I'd really like to know what people think about a refurbished SSD. Just restocked? Been bounced around? Wiped clean? What would you calculate the increased likelihood of failure would be? Is it worth it for 33% off/ $70.00 savings? -
Using promo code price will be 15$ lower.
I would doubtfully buy refurbished OCZ SSDs with SF controller (Like Vertes 2/3 or Agility 2/3) which were plently on Neweg recently. I guess OCZ reflashed firmwares on them and brought to Newegg. but Crucial... I don't know.
But speaking about Crucial I would buy it without a doubt... If I haven't already bought 128GB SSD.
I bought once headphones ref. from Newegg. They looked like new. Aтв pay attention that they have a lot of one kind of stuff called refurished o doubtfully all they were brought back in 2 weeks after selling date. -
Recently I was wondering the same thing, how does one actually refurbish a SSD?
