Looks like only white color is discounted, but this is a good deal and its in stock right now.

I have been doing some research personally about the DSi vs DS Lite and it seems that the DS Lite is still just as good and in some ways better so I think even with the new model out the old model is still a very valid choice if you want one.

Yep, I'll have to wait and see if they get black on sale, I am not a big fan of white color.

BTW the largest issue with the DSi is the loss of battery life, its almost HALF of the DS Lite at max brightness and since this is a portable gaming machine battery life is probably one of the most important aspects. Plus I have some GBA games laying around :D would be nice to be able to play them.

Black is a nice color...I've had my Crimson Red DSLite for well over 1. 5 years and it's still going strong! :) You should try playing Trace Memory or Phoenix Wright, Ace Atty, if you get it..fun games :D

I like the white, albeit a bit girly. It makes absolutely no sense to trade such lower battery life for a brighter screen. Were ppl complaining about it being too dark?No....Anyway can't you counter it by turning brightness down.Really?Half?? Any yes(not that I have any GB carts) another con on the DSi is that it's not backwards compatible. It's a fail for Nintendo.Atleast it will still sell like hot cakes. Also a fail for Sony with the PSP Go.
