Sigh, no hacks for the DSi so the DS Lite is the one I would get for now.

Seems like a good price though. Cin the bargain hunter :D

Actually they already have the R4 working on the DSi now. I remember seeing it a couple of days ago.

This thing will be gone soon. Id buy now if anyone was interested. Nintendo systems barely ever go on sale Lol.

    Ahh the R4 is working?

Hmmmm, its a toy I dont need but would be fun to play with. 2x in my life I got a portable game system and both times I never used it as often as I had intended and waisted money on it. Best thing for me is just my EEE 1000H with various emulation programs on it.

Though I think the DSI will cause DS Lites to drop under $100 for smart shoppers, that would be the best thing to do IMO.

I am with you there. The only advantage I know of is the slightly bigger better screens. The gimmicky cameras/pic editting, sound editting don't interest me at all.I would probably pick a DS Lite up for $100 and get a R4.But unfortunately I don't think it will drop that much.Could possibly get one for even cheaper in mint condition on fleebay with everyone else upgrading.I like my hacked fat psp.Have you tried Project 64 on your 1000H??It doesn't work that well,or on any netbook with weak gpu I assume, right?Curious because I never tried that before I sold mine.

Project 64 works on the EEE depending on the game it lags. Like off the top of my head I know I never had golden eye working without lag, but had games like Mario 64 working fine.

A cpu OC can help too.

Refurb white DS Likte $93 now on ecost, I think prices will drop even lower soon and probably new units will get sub $100

I did the research last night on DS Lite vs DSi and the main problem was the battery life, its cut almost in half on the DSi, but the screen IS bigger (just slightly) and brighter (quite a bit brighter and that will obviously cut into battery life)

I think I am going to fleabay for a really cheap DS Lite if I get one, too many other things I need/want to invest $100+ into something that I wont use often.
