I've been waiting a long time to buy my college laptop but it seems the coupons are always used up before I get to them. So I decided to wait until they release new ones(which is supposed to be today, August 3) but all the new coupons suck compared to the old ones(where they had 30% off, $450 off $1499+, etc).
Are they coming up with any more of the old coupons anymore? What is my best bet for getting a good laptop? I want a laptop for entertainment multimedia purposes(no gaming) and preferably the Dell 1705 model. The problem is I don't have much money.
I've been thinking about buying from Dell Outlet since the deals are really really good and I don't mind used/slight scratched stuff but I can't seem to find coupons for Dell Outlet.
Can somebody help me out? I've been meaning to buy this **** laptop for 2 months now but so far I haven't gotten anything accomplished yet.

hmm yeah it -could- be that there are no more $750 off coupons..
I got mine (and used it on the last day, the 2nd of August) on http://www.dailyedeals.com/free_online_coupons/dell.htm
and it worked like a charmgod that would suck so bad if they don't post any more coupons.. I heard they usually stop in september (when all students got their notebook)

wow their better be more 750 off coupons or 35% off coupons, I was going to get mine this weekend -.- ****ing bull ****.

Sht, what is it that everytime I use the $450 off coupon there always seem to be an error? I fit all the criteria so I guess the only explanation is that the 4000 user limit has been reached.

At least on the small business side, they are moving towards simpler pricing for Inspirons (no coupons or mail-in-rebates):

It does seem that they have moved away from coupons...such a pity. Thank God that i bought it yesterday.

I got an email about that xadillo. It appears that they moved away from rebates and such on home and small business. See this link:

FYI by the end of this month Dell says it will offer core 2 duo ( at least in the XPS ) , so if you wait a bit more it might be worth it .
If it wants simple pricing to work , Dell will have to simply lower its prices by a simple 30% to get the NO coupon simple pricing to simply work . -

you can still get 20% off but thats if you can find a system that doesn't already have money off -.-.

Please don't tell me that that e1705 deal is done. I saw the new "no coupon hassle" campaign thing and it sux compared to a 750 off coupon. Since there are still 20% coupons floating around till aug 9th, you think its possible some more coupons will be released after that?
I have to make a decision soon...schools starts in 4 weeks. -
omg, good thing I bought mine 2 days ago . . .
No more good new coupons for DELL?
