    ^^
I know..I am soooo close to getting it.
I was watching overstock.com's pricing on it. And, it has gotten as low as $185 (still for a refurb), now it's $225 @ostock, so this is the better deal of the 2 :)

This is a great android device running CM7 (Cynogen Mod 7). Excellent 'how-to' thread over at XDA developers here for installation instructions.

The Nook Color is a perfect size for browsing and reading since it has a high quality IPS display. Perfect for playback of photos on the hi-res screen. Very, very happy with mine. :D

If I didn't already have an Archos 70it and a Xoom, I'd be all over this... Anyone who posts regularly on this site is easily capable of hacking this...

Oh, for anyone interested in purchasing the Nook Color, thru ebay (B&N), it ships pretty fast. I ordered this morning, and got shipment notification a few hours later!

Has anyone used this and compared it to others? The one I tried at B&N was pretty heavy. Didn't really examine it, so there might have been a weight or lock on the back.

Archos was good until they pushed new firmware on it that really made things start to mess up. I prefer the light weight and more manageable size, but it seems pretty slow now. The xoom on the other hand is a powerhouse and Its my current favorite.

If I didn't have the archos first though, I would have never seen how useful a tablet can be. I suggest that anyone thinking about getting a tablet find something that has a lower price point (like this nook) and see if its for you. If not, then sell what you have and take your little loss. If you like what you have, then figure out where your next logical upgrade should be. The XDA forums are a treasure trove of information on any sort of tablet you could ever think of.
