    AVG Internet Security 9.0 3-User
    which I much prefer.

    Or you could just download a free one like microsoft security essentials which isnt bad at all.

    Actually I have NIS 2011 installed on a desktop,2laptops & a netbook with no problems whatsover. The netbook came with McAfee preinstalled and that slowed the netbook to a crawl,when I installed Norton it was a world of difference,very light on system resources.
    This is very different from the bloated Norton software of years back. Everyone has their own preferences but I just feel it is better coverage than the free suites and others like AVG. I had AVG AV a few years back but it was kind of clunky and didn't impress me at all.
    IMO opinion 20 dollars to protect 3 computers with a quality security suite is a bargain. Also if you have Comcast they provide a modified version of this same program for free,I think you can install it on 7 different computers.
