    i was this close to squeezing the trigger on an i6000 with this coupon (wuxga and extra battery for a little over 1K), but i couldn't get over (a) the part in abaxter's review that mentioned how you have to raise your wrists when typing because it's a "thick" notebook (the exact reason i bought a thin i2100 previously) and (b) those white plastic accents (my roommate has the 700m and like the review says, it looks cheap and plastic-y).

    here's hoping that the (soon released?) compaq v4000 is a 15.4" version of the v2000 with a dedicated vid card...

    it's info like that found in the reviews that make this site invaluable; especially for a product like Dell where you can't just walk into a BB or Fry's to see 'em in person

    I think you can do better than the i6000 though, it's got some definite shortcomings, but if you're able to get it for a good price it might be worth it.
