It doesn't stop getting cheaper. A month ago $50 was an OK deal. I paid $145 for 4G and then found out that NewEgg sold the exact same RAM for $120. Returned my original purchase and then 4G dropped to $90.
Can't win. -

HOLY CRAP that's freaking nice! I'm thinking about it, but I currently have 2gb RAM in my PC, I really see no need to get 4gb lol...(I have a 64bit OS disc...i don't need it though lol)
-
nice deal man
-
if u use the visa card it comes to 17 dollars!!!!
-
I'm running 4g. The system recognizes it and that's all that matters to me. 3.5g FTW.

That's dandy. Generally XP only recognises 2.8 / 3.2 gbs...so you're lucky. I said that I own a 64 bit disc. I just don't see the point of getting 4gb for my laptop, i have 4gb at home, so it's all good. -
Google checkout.
-
I remember paying 70 for my first 1GB stick, and 45 for my second. Prices have gone way down.

If my XPS m1530 has 2gb installed (hopefully 2*1gb), can I buy that RAM and install it on my lappy which has 32-bit Vista, and make it 3gb?

Yes, it will be around 3gb of memory. You will, however, lose dual channel support. If you do not know what that is look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual_channel
It's up to you though. -
wow simply just wow. i just got 2gb for 25$ and i thought it was good but with google checkout at 22$ man this is getting crazy
-
This is a crazy deal.
-
did you miss the 4gb for 65 sale?
-
Apparantly. Son of a...
Now. If I had seen that, I would have returned my memory again and also returned the 2g I bought. -
There's asynchronous dual channel, so he's not going to lose dual channel support.
-
This is an insane deal, wow. I want to pick this up, but I probably won't, since I don't need more than the 1.5GB I have now.
-
You can never have enough RAM. Especially with Vista. You should know better.
OCZ 2GB - $32.99 ($22.99 with GCO)
