60gb for $170... thats $2.83 per GB thats actually not a good price for a SSD anymore. Plus with the Intel really winning the SSD throne no reason to get another brand/model unless its a really really good deal.

Recent deals to compare it to:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=441749
    160GB G2 Intel SSD $420 = $2.62 per GB

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=438807
    120GB Agility OCZ SSD $275 = $2.29 per GB

Intel with the best performance makes it a good price, and the Agility is just a tad slower with the same controller as the Vertex making it a good deal (in SSD terms lol)

No I didn't get it. The turbo version was on sale also but I stopped myself. If it were bigger I probably would have done it.

Warning. My SuperTalent SSD lasted 3 months. Never had a spinning hard drive fail like that.

It did run fast, until it stopped running fast...

This is a good SSD - I have one, which I got for $40 less than this shell shocker, back in the fall, on a shell shocker. You have yo know what your buying and what it should cost if you are going to buy on sale, this deal wasn't great this time.
