-
...................
-
and dos your nobo support ddr3 when u want 1066 ?
if am in mexico i will buy 2 pieces those 800 Mhz -
-
ohh well yeah
good then -
Why not buy them and put then on the market place for more money? Exept because i gave you the idea you sell to me for cheap
-
Yeah, right. Tell me when you actually receive it
-
Has anyone taken a good look at the memory module on the link the OP put up? That is a 2GB DDR2 samsung module, just like one of the 2GB samsung modules in my HP.
I suspect this "deal" is nothing more than 2 x 2GB samsung modules to make up the 4GB. There is no way that you are going to get a 4GB DDR2 module for that price. -
He has more previous sales of single 4gb sodimms at those prices, with all positive feedback also the image says 2gb BUT
I asked the seller here:
Question: Hola amigo, disculpa es una sola memoria de 4gb o son 2 de 2gb? saludos!
Answer: Hola buenas tardes, es una sola de 4gb. Saludos.
translation:
Question: Hi my friend, sorry Is this a single memory of 4gb or just a 2 X 2gb kit?
Answer: Hello good afternoon, is only one of 4gb. Thanks.
Ill post when I recive it, maybe Ill buy more heheheh even resale them -
Sounds great... hopefully it works out! Let us know. Too bad to the rest who use DDR3 SODIMMs, they'll have to settle for like $400 each for now...
-
Be sure that Ill tell you, my guess is that he works at a samsung factory in Mexico that could explain those prices...
At first I was abit doubtful but then I saw his feedback: 100% and also he sold many 4gb sodimms at that price before all with positive feedback.
Btw Wow he is just a seller he got all his feedback just for selling.
-
interesting. keep us posted.
-
-
Wow, 56 is cheap... The cheapst i can get before is 64USD each....
-
Where can you get them at $64?
-
I don't know I am still skeptical about this price for a 4GB module given today's market price.
Are you sure these aren't stolen merchandise? -
-
Everyone should care if it's stolen.
1.It's wrong!
2.If it's stolen it's illegal
3.(if it's stolen) things like this cause prices to go up for the rest of us that are trying to be honest.
I would have expected better of someone serving in the U.S. Army. -
How about this:
http://www.thenerds.net/FUTURE_MEMORY_SOLUTIONS.Future_Memory_4GB_DDR2_SDRAM_Memory_Module_4GB_667MHz_DDR2_667PC2_5300_DDR2_SDRAM_2.MA940GAFM.html?affid=8&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=MA940GAFM^~^FUTURE%20MEMORY%20SOLUTIONS
4gb module for $57, seems reasonable to me.
Or even this:
http://www.grabcart.com/product/ele...5400-DDR2-SDRAM-200-pin-SoDIMM-KTA-MB667K2-4G
4gb module for $70 from Kingston. -
Interesting...So 4GB DDR2 sodimm memory modules can be this cheap
although the ones you linked are only DDR2-667mhz. I wonder why newegg etc don't have any of these, the cheapest ones I have seen average around the $150-180 mark.
-
Those are both @667mhz.
The op's is @800mhz.
I'll be glad when I can find a good price on DDR3@1066. 2x4Gb.
Newegg has the 2x4Gb kits in 667,800, and 1066. Bring some cash:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010260381 1309139890&name=8GB (2 x 4GB) -
Yep the $56 memory is 800mhz so its better but hey OMG $70 for a 4gb 667mhz kingston sodimm is really cheap, I think that this could be the beggining of a price cut .
Btw I dont think its stolen merchandise because mercadolibre would had closed the seller´s page. I really cant wait to have the sodimm on my dirty hands. Urmm I have an idea, Ill call the seller tomorrow to ask him if he could sell me more
.

Rob does your laptop let you choose the fsb:ram divider in bios, or overclock the fsb via bios?
All the laptops I have owned do not, so even putting faster ram in (DDR2 1066) it still runs the slower ~DDR2 800 speeds.
Even more in depth since I did a large overclock via software on many of my laptops, I often hit the limits of my ram where it wont overclock higher and stay stable. I though about getting higher rated ram to remedy this and relized that it wont work.
Even a 1066 sodimm still has SPD timings for 800 & 667 and if your laptop boots at the 800mhz speeds it will use the 800mhz SPD timings for the ram even after you overclock it so it would get unstable just as easily as the slower ram. -
Yeah, unfortunately they're only 677mhz, but I don't know whether the seller in the op's link ships to US or not, so my links are still the best in the US, I think.
-
Those deals that Zephir posted are really good too!, you should take a look!. -
2) lots of things our government does is illegal.
3) how would something that's being sold cheaper cause prices to go up? Shouldn't it cause prices to go down since it's creating more competition?
I've never stolen anything persay, but downloading anything illegally or buying anything from anyone in Iraq (which is 99% stolen goods) is pretty much the same thing. I've done the latter 2 so shame on me. I work 84 hours a week for $1600 a month, I don't think that's fair, but that's how life is. -
King of Interns Simply a laptop enthusiast
I am sure its legit. Its about time for a price drop anyway. Even if it is a tad premature by summer's end I 'am pretty sure 4gb modules will be much cheaper.
@ACU how do you find the time to game!? i remember working similiar hours last year in the US and there wasn't much time aside from work and sleep -
I don't really sleep much anymore... but I only game for an hour or so a day, if that.
-
No, I can't adjust any timings in my bios. I referenced the DDR3 1066 cause that's what my laptop uses. -
Sorry for the dbl post.
2. That may be, but I always do my best to keep my conduct honorable.
3. Stolen goods represent losses no matter how you rationalize it. The execs and CEO's of companies aren't going to take those losses out of their pockets. Losses are always passed on to the end consumer.
Don't you think your last statement is hitting below the belt? I too have been serving my country in the "war" for the last 5 years working 84 hours or more a week. However.....I have never brought it up in any debate. I guess until now.
Whenever I see a service member here I always thank them for their service.
Thanks for your service.
Just because life isn't fair and you've had to endure hardships doesn't justify rationalizing theft, be it stolen goods or pirated software.
In the end it's your choice to make, not mine. IMO, trying to hang on to ones ideals isn't a bad thing.
I wish you well, come home safe. -

My 2 cents about complaining about works hours and wages in the service: First I'll tell you the first thing the drill instructors tell you in basic training "you have no right to complain you volunteered to be here" Second I'll tell you I never had more money to spend than I did when I was on active duty, the wages are not going to beat some macho corporate hot shots pay but since you have next to zero for expenses almost all your earnings can be used for things you want or invested. -

I bought many items from ebay amazon ,wherever from and..
what if they are stolen or not?
what should I do now??
give it back ?
am not bothered if it's stolen or not because I didn't know anything where it was from ..
I have not received info about stuff except specificaton of item and that's it
another people doing such a black market top secret deals in the world
and we mortals we think everything is in all right and in order and legal .. -
@ Evoss-X, what I'm talking about is if you KNOW it's stolen.
If you do know it's stolen you've committed a crime.
If you find out later that it's stolen you're supposed to notify authorities.
Hey, I'm just trying follow my conscience and do what I believe is the right thing to do, and what is right under the law.
Who would have thought trying to do the honest thing would get so much criticism?
Seems backwards to me.
To get back on track....I think by the time I can afford two 4Gb DD3@1066 modules, DDR3 will be old news. -
-
Good news guys I paid the seller today and the seller just told me that he sent memory of 4gb
, it seems that it will arrive on Wednesday
.
-
also, please snap a couple pictures of the RAM before you put it in, for verification of the make, model and speed.
I'm licking my chops over here, to be honest. -
And RAM Will arrive and it will be 2x2GB
-
lulz. I hope not for his sake.
I promise...if it turns out to be legit, functioning memory, everyone here is gonna pounce. It's not even a debate. -
I can't seem to find anymore information on the Future Memory Solutions Ram that was posted earlier indicating whether it was a single stick or not. The Kingston ram (KTA-MB667K2-4G) however seems to be a 2x2GB kit it seems. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case anyone was interested in that one. I found several links indicating this, but here is one of them:
http://www.costcentral.com/proddetail/Kingston_Technology_Kingston/KTAMB667K24G/L48713/
(No offense meant to Zephir, it's just that some websites don't label their products clearly.)
Edit: I am calling thenerds.net tomorrow to confirm the Future Solutions ram, will post an update. -
. He sent me an email saying that he just sent me the single 4gb memory
.
Im really excited, I cant wait to try it on my lappy. -
man, not even a sniff of a price like that in Canada
-
RainMotorsports Formerly ClutchX2

your fsb:ram divider is 1:2 so your ram is already running 2x faster than your system fsb. -
I've contacted TheNerds.net about that 4gb future solutions ram and they can't seem to confirm if it's one module or two either. They gave me the number to call future solutions directly, will update on that later.
-
Wow, if this is true, that's awesome. I'd love to pick up 2x4GB.
-
Just got off the phone with a representative from Future Memory Solutions and according to him, it's also just a 2x2Gb kit unfortunately. Unless he's wrong this deal was also too good to be true. It looks like the only good deal is still from Mexico
.
Anyone wanna buy one just to check?Lol
OMG!! single 4gb @ 800mhz sodimms $56 USD in Mexico!
