i just ordered one, base congifuration with 12-cell(extra $40) i think, hopefully i'll get a 64 bit sempron. it does come with ethernet and modem but no wireless at base price. i did, however; order a wireless card free after rebates from tigerdirect.

oh ground shipping for me was $45 :( no other shipping options.

It is probably $100-125 cheaper than HP's including the tax and shipping. Rebates can sometimes be a headache.

Upgrade it yourself, AFTER you buy it.
They want to charge you $50 to give you 512 up from 256 MB memory. You can watch for 512 stick deals under $50 all the time. For less then their $50, you will end up with 768MB.
I kept the lowly 40GB hard drive included, and upgraded to 2x512 sticks later on mine.

Like raygun said, even if you dont upgrade to wireless, you can add it later for cheap, or free also.

The included 6cell battery will average you 2-2 1/2 hours. Judge for yourself if you need a 12cell of unplugged time.

Desktop versions of the Sempron do offer 64 bit instructions. No idea when they will move the mobile versions, but I doubt that if you ordered it now 64 bit is probably no go.
