The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hello.

I have always valued the information available on this site and thought it worthy to register and get some information regarding a website.

    It is located at www.best-computers.net

I have had a look at the site and the prices look very sharp indeed. However, when you go to discuss issues with the administrators you are referred to a Yahoo mail account. I asked a question and got an Email back and it just does not seem right (even though they have a Verisign payment system).

Can anyone please give some insight into the legitimacy of the site please. I would hate for unsuspecting people to potentially be scammed (I hope I am wrong!).

    Thanks

    Colin.

    I don't see a profile at resellerratings.com, I'd avoid them.

Looks like an OK site, but Brian is right, they are not on resellerratings. Don't buy from there. There's lots of other stores avaliable on the net. ;)
