I can verify that it does support H.264. In any event, I am at a serious crossroad between picking up one of the new iPod Touches that are coming out or the new 32GB Zune HD.

Hmm, I dunno, I like that they use flash, but if they are HD, I'd rather have regular disk drive with 120-160GB storage... :/ Do like the Wi-Fi abilites of the zune and tegra..

 

I find it odd that the Zune HD didn't come out with a flash capacity of more than 32GB, especially considering that this device is going head to head with the iPod Touch. However, I do appreciate the battery life that flash offers over traditional HDD-based PMP's.

 

You should go for it since it is a good deal. You may change your mind later and may not be able to get the same price.

 

It is powered by an Nvidia Tegra chip, which is a MONSTER This thing is capable of outputting 720 to a TV with the right cable without any hiccuping. Also, the tegra chip has amazing power saving abilities.

Itouch 16gb or Zune HD 16gb?

 

That is purely subjective and much too early to tell at this point.

 

The only thing holding me back is the performance of the web browser (I have 2g touch already, wants something better), which they seems to have forgotten: there is no demo, review on it. Even though this deal is sweet, I am going have to wait till this tuesday when it gets released and reviewed before pulling the trigger.

The chart is good, but it is obviously biased. Not an apple fan here, just saying if someone is going to make a chart at least make it a fair comparison.

Was on the phone with EPP rep for 30 somewhat minutes.. he went to see the manager twice but cannot combine two discounts (7% EPP + 15% Home coupon). I noticed 15% coupon says 'Exclusion apply/'

If anyone is going to try, please let me know so I could try call again!

 

D'oh! Well that certainly bites. Ah well, at least one of the discounts can be used.

 

I don't want to spend too much time (since it took me 30 minutes one time 20 minutes another) but I will try once more on Monday. If not, just forget it and keep my 15% current order.

Yes, me too..I spoke with a Rep last night..he indicated since they were completely OOS (they were pulled)...once replensihed ~ they hoped they would be backup on site w/in a few days. *fingers crossed*.

If anyone see them both back up on Dell's site..would please update the thread, it would be appreciated! I will do the same!

The Zune is back up on the site, but the coupon for it no longer work for the Zune, however it does work on other electronics.

 

Yeah..Another Dell *fail*..I like how they *killed* this coupon..like they did the coupon for the PS3 Slim.

I don't know if any of you guys noticed, but Apple released their 64GB version of the iTouch. Do you think the Zune HD will follow suit? I'd like to get as much flash capacity as possible in my next MP3 player and right now, I'm torn between the Zune HD and the 64GB iTouch.

Yeah, i could have saved 40 dollars, but i guess the 15 percent off wasnt really intended to be used on the zune. thats why they took it off =/
