So 3 questions:
1. Why are they making a free version that has all the same features as the paid one? Is it because it's only for private use? That's fine with me
2. Is this really the best defragger out there right now?
3. I've never heard of Puran before. Are you positive they can be trusted?
Thanks -

I have been using it for a couple of months after a recommendation i got from here , it is fast and does a great job, no registration or anything so no catches that i can see.

I tried it and like it a lot. It's better than Defraggler and about the same as Auslogic's Disk Defrag. But free is always good, LOL.

imo hands down the best defrag program out for basic use. if you dont care care about having all the crazy extras that come with some of the bigger names this is by far imo the best out. and now that they have started a free version you simply cant beat it. puran is also excellent with their tech support for those that choose the paid one, and they even responded VERY quickly to free users as well which they say is not supported. excellent company and fantastic defragger.

Tried this, it ended up moving my MFT to the middle of the drive, whereas windows still wrote to the original location. Ended up with a fragmented MFT, and fixed it with Perfectdisk.
Everything else works perfect though. Just FYI, running Windows Server 2008 R2. -
you needed to run a boot time defrag it would have fixed that for you
