Link: Amazon.com: Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600 DPI: Electronics
Amazon usually has decent prices on Razer products compared to the company's own online store (e.g. $45 for the DeathAdder), but today they've lowered the price of the Mamba even further, to $95.
That's still a pretty hefty price tag for a mouse, but keep in mind that MSRP for the Mamba is $130, and until today Amazon's standard price was $111.
This most likely has something to do with Razer's announcement of the "new" Mamba, with a new 6,400 DPI dual optical-laser sensor and color-changing LED's, which Razer are now taking pre-orders for at $125.
At any rate, it's a good opportunity to snag the current Mamba, which has still more DPI than you'll ever need, and the convenience of wireless.
I personally bought a refurbished Mamba for $70 from Woot last year, and I couldn't be happier. It's easily the best mouse I've ever used. My refurb only came with 90 days of warranty, but this one at Amazon comes with the full 2 years.
Razer Mamba specs:
- 5,600 DPI laser sensor
- 7 programmable buttons
- 1,000Hz polling/1ms response in both wired and wireless modes
- Detachable USB cable for wired use and charging
- Wireless transmitter also acts as a charging cradle
