    Got one on impulse.

My G7 is getting old and while still faithfully serving me, it will come time to replace it at some point so got this now while it is on sale.

I was not happy at all with my last Razer mouse, the Mamba.

So let me see if this one lives up to all the good things said about it or it turns out to be another over hyped product.

My biggest interest is to see if the bluetooth lag bothers me (sleep mode after a few seconds of no activity)

Gah that's $30 less than I got mine for, that's a good deal. Out of the box it'll lag, upgrade the firmware and it won't be so bad.

I posted instructions here for killing the lag on linux, but I realize that's probably not relevant for most people reading this. :p

It's a great mouse, but it's very very very small.. still has good ergonomics though. Perfect for travel.

The micro-sleep issue is the only thing that worries me. Hopefully it's just been over-hyped. Otherwise this mouse has everything I want in a travel gaming mouse. I'll know in a few days...

Great mouse! I use it with Razer's Kabuto mousepad. My only wish is that the usb cable charged the mouse while plugged in.

I imagine the time it lags is bluetooth doing its thing, it may be faster/slower depending on your hardware but mostly your software.

Id not be surprised to see a great bluetooth software/driver set like Bluesoleil to work much faster/better than stock stuff.

So I will try with my stock bluetooth first, but then upgrade to Bluesoleil and see if its better.
