    EDIT: Geez, that went fast.

    DEAD DEAL

<S>Found this at slickdeals, if I was shopping around I might've bitten on this:

They really need to step up their editing though, it erroneously says that fingerprint reader is included on one of the pics.

I say its a steal at 700. I wouldn't be suprised if they ran out of stock in the next hour.

you can also use live.com for 10% cashback but this way is more of a hassle and you have to wait 60 days to get your money.

200?! You'd think CompUSA would be decent and have a "limit 1 per purchase" or something.

Hrm..... Me thinks I will pay TigerDirect a visit tomorrow, and see if maybe they stashed some in the STORE for retail walk-in sales....

Ya never know.... now THIS is a case that, even though I really DON'T want a 17" lappie, I'd be stupid NOT to get one.

Anyone interested in my findings? Like local in SoFla?

No luck...actually, the guys at the store (Tiger) had no idea what I was talking about, so I assume it was a warehouse/online-only deal.

Oh well - here's to better luck next time....

THAT would be a case where I "could live with" a 17" lappie!
