Don't feel too badly. While this seller's overall % positive reviews seems ok at 98.8%, given the tens of thousands of transactions they do, a number under 99.75% is highly suspect. If you read the hundreds of negative reviews in just the last 3 months you'll see not just dissatisfied customers, be really angry ones, who found the seller to be callous and indifferent when there were problems. This is a red flag with an eBay seller.

On the other hand, their sales come with the eBay 30 day 100% return guarantee, so the risk is low. Congrats to the person who got a $2,500 screamin gamer for $1,000! For others, fear not, there will be more. I would bookmark this seller, as they are known for some ridiculously low prices on reportedly nearly new condition/refurbed items.

Available again... tempted. I'm sure I could get my money back, plus 30 day guarantee.

    edit: bought... review incoming!

Anyone interested in a refurbed and fully tested / evaluated Blade 14 let me know. I'm sure I'll be selling this after I review it. Granted I'll likely disassemble and tear this thing apart so any warranty will be void. But for less than half price not a bad deal at all. Although give it a month or so before it will be available. Heck I might keep it (mmm, not likely).

Go for it. Nothing to lose. If it arrives in good condition you just got a $2300 laptop for $1200

I purchased another. Gonna keep one and resell the other. If it turns out to be in poor condition I'll just return them.

You gotta be Johnny on the spot apparently. I got lucky, I just clicked on the "relisted item" link and refreshed for about a minute and it popped up and bought one.

Sigh, been looking for a laptop for months and this would have been perfect for my budget :(. If this doesn't come up again I'd be willing to pay someone a little more for one of them (though can't afford real "market" value)

Kind of wish I hadn't though, just spent $1200 that I didn't plan on at all, lol. But at least I can get money back if I decide to just return it, but I'm sure I can make my money back by reselling it, or at least most of it.

Systems that were purchased new by consumers but returned for whatever reason (didn't like, defective). They are supposed to be fixed to like-new standard with replacement parts, if needed, but cannot be re-sold that way so they are put up at a discount.

I personally wouldn't buy a refurbished system unless it came with some kind of warranty. Apple, Dell, Lenovo and others have refurbished sections of their online stores offering products at good prices that come with the same standard and optional warranty coverage as new. They can represent a good bargain over a brand new system.

These Razer Blades represent more of a risk, IMO. While the price is outstanding, I'm leery of Razer's support in general. You have to decide if that's worth it or not.

They all sold out within a few hours of them being listed so you don't have to worry whether you want to buy it or not. One of the best deals I've seen in a while.

I wanted to get my hands on a Blade for a while. But I don't plan on keeping it, honestly. Either return or sell. As long as it's working normally I should be able to make my money back.

Mine shipped already from secondipity today. Trying to keep my hopes low cause the price was just ridiculous. It clearly says touchscreen though and the previous blade clearly didn't have that...

The one I got from eBay says QHD+ touch screen, so same thing. It better be the GTX 870m version. Razer has to get rid of them somehow, why not bulk sell them to a couple distributors and let them deal with it. No warranty (that I'm aware of) except for 30 day return, so it doesn't seem all too unrealistic. Most laptops if you push them hard for a few days if they don't fail or show issues then, likely it will last a while without issues.

I don't think a qhd+ Razer exists without an 870m, so if they are true to their word then it'll definitely be the right model and everything.

If this turns out well, then waiting all these months was worth it lol

Yes, mine works fine too so far. Just temps a bit toasty when gaming. $1200 is more than reasonable for such a laptop. The only thing that prevents me from keeping it though is the lack of storage options. If there were an mSATA port so I could throw in a 1TB mSATA I would be set. Otherwise 256GB is just way too constricting.

For $1500 though. Still a great deal no doubt, but now its expensive enough where it would put some doubt into my mind due to the lack of reliability. At 1200 it was just so cheap that its worth it was definitely worth the risk

Laptop arrived yesterday, condition is pretty good. Can't see any marks anywhere.
However, AC adapter is dead. Won't charge up and the LED lights don't turn on. For all I know, the laptop could be dead. :(
