newegg still doesnt have any doa reports on this one.

I just got my xt and aparently it grows on you. But all my tests just sort of show its exactly like other 7200 rpm 500 gb hds.

 

I picked one up last time it was on sale and overall i am very happy with my purchase ..

 

I actually get the same hdtune score from my xt as a wd black, i mean the exact same to the digit.

the sd part is used as a larger buffer which can increase commonly used files. I have to give it time before I call it bunk lol but no reality yet. I will have to research it more.

 

Can you tell me if this is 9.5mm or 12mm thick?? Thank You.

65$ I dont need it but Im really thinking of just going for it because i need to order an esata cable anyway.

I would actually use it as a data hd with my xt.

 

Price is now $90. I am going to hold off until the price drops again.
