    just as I was about to pull the trigger on this Samsung, I remembered I had $15 ebay gc and $5 ebay bucks. found a new Intel G2 160gb on ebay for the same price :D

    Deal sure didnt last long, but man its priced at $299.99 right now. I got it for $220 few days before this sale on amazon.com. This deal was certainly good, especially since this samsung ssd is fast.

    I had the 64gb version of the samsung, and I loved it apart from one thing.

    You couldnt check the status of the health on it. Apperently that was a new "feature" that sasmung added in one of their firmware updates.

    If you could deal with not knowing if your drive might die soon or not, its a great drive.

    I meant the vertex 3. Newegg is out of stock right now and all of the other reseller are overpricing it due to the high demand and limited supplies. That sucks.

    Only the 256GB gets those speeds if I recall correctly. The 128GB is mediocre compared to it.

    I would do some research before making a misleading statement. 128gb?? :confused: mediocore?? :confused: only 256gb gets those speeds?? :confused:

    The 120gb vertex 3 gets Up to 550MBps for read and write my friend ;) plus, it performs the same as the vertex 2 250gb
