Newegg is fine. There are incidents that newegg has been somewhat shady when it comes to motherboard returns, but at least you'll get the 3 year warranty from Samsung. Sucks that it's at 12:01am PT, because that's like 3:01 ET and I refuse to get up at 3am just to buy an SSD.

Lol, I'm usually up until 4am EST, I'll could probably buy it for you haha.

Seriously though, these SSD deals are freaking sweet! Waiting for my $140 Intel 330 to arrive at my door any day now from Amazon.

Amazon has it for $140? I should have purchased mine there, we have Prime.

$140 is for the 128GB. This is for the 256GB, and it's $235 at Amazon. Still great pricing.

It was $139.99 after MIR. And I had to create a second Amazon account using my community college email since I ran out of free Prime on my university email

They just keep dropping! I really want to get one to replace my outdated Sandforce SSD which has horrible sequential speeds for compressed data (99% of the data I work with) but the moment I buy, I just know the price will drop even further, lol.

At this rate, 60/64GB drives will be phased out soon.

I wouldn't object to the industry moving to 128/256/512GB as the baseline instead of 64/128/256

Yeah. I just wish 512GB drives would drop in price. I could raid two 256GB Samsung 830's for a lot less than the 512GB one.
