    I'm tempted to upgrade my server from 3x3TB + 2x2TB to 4x4TB + 1x3TB

Be careful with these drives fellas, read the reviews. :hi2:

Many of the reviews claim DOA and RMA's due to poor packaging by Newegg. They recently had 2 good deals both Tosh drives 2TB for $79 and 3TB for $129. Both were Retail kit and are pretty quick.

It's not so much Seagate QC but poor shipping on the part of Newegg.

I was hoping Amazon would match the price but so far have not. Then I'd be more tempted to go. But Newegg has been decent with drives I've bought in the past. Wrapped in bubble wrap, in a box in a larger box with a billion peanuts.

I remember buying a 3 tb hard drive for I believe 80 ish dollars on Black Friday. When I look at deals for hard drives since then, I can not help but feel that I am ripping myself off if I go for these current deals.

Considering 4TB is the current max capacity it has a price barrier to break through, but $150 is a pretty tempting deal if you want mass NAS or server storage on the cheap.
