ok ....but now here comes a thing this is the 7200.11 version because that entire generation have firmware issues .

Well you can still buy it , and except it to fail then exchange it under warranty ....but then again, I don't know if they just going to give you another 7200.11

 

i heard the firmware issues have been resolved and they no longer brick randomly.

 

I jumped on it as soon as I confirmed it's 1.5 TB and 7200 RPM. I've been needing an external for a while and I was waiting for both a high capacity, high speed drive and an enclosure to go on sale. I'm hoping what you say is true In either case, they appear to be sold out.

Edit: Never mind; they were this morning but now they are selling again.
