    I know it looks like a good deal, but

    Check the review.... seems this one has got the "click of death" issue up the wazzooo! Good price, just needs to be a more reliable drive.

    After the fiasco they had with their 7200.11 series, I'm staying away from Seagate for another few generations.

    One would have to wonder if it was hardware defect, or the haphazard shipping some have gotten with Newegg. (Depending on which warehouse it gets shipped out of, the packaging could be severely lacking to the protection of the drives themselves. Or, possibly not.)

    I also noticed that there was some question as to quality control. Seems it's possible they've been shipping them straight out without ever powering them up... A big no no when it comes to electronic components...
