    This is by far the lowest price I've seen for this hybrid HD. It's interesting that the listing doesn't mention the coupon discount, but applies it during check-out, almost like an unexpected bonus.

    Pure SSDs outperform this and other hybrid HDs. However, the Seagate XT's performance in turn markedly surpasses conventional HDs and is far less expensive than pure SSDs on a $/GB basis. If you are seeking performance that exceeds conventional HDs, the Seagate XT hybrid HD is well worth considering, especially at this sales price.

    Great deal, indeed. There's also 500GB regular Momentus 7.2k rpm for $50. Otherwise, all other 7.2k 500GB HDs are really close price-wise to Momentus XT, but far below in terms of performance.
