Really nice pair of earbuds for the price, will be hard to beat this price vs performance ratio.

Pack them in your bag for a way to listen to your laptop in private or in loud places, use with your phone or tablet, etc.

Hey if they got your seal of approval they must be pretty darn good!

If I didn't already have 3 pairs of headphones I would buy these.

How well do those seal out outside sound?

I usually listen on the trains and I want something that doesn't completely seal out outside noises for hearing stops and safety reasons.

These are known as the in-canal style of ear buds which are different from the ear buds that rest on outside of the ear canal with the iPod ear buds as the most recognizable outside the ear canal ear buds.

    Thanks

Depending on the tip you use they are considered noise cancelling and if you use the wrong type of tip they usually don't sound very good.. Every earbud I use cancels noise but they are the ones that go in the ear.

I was posting these because for the money its a steal, but for you I recommend you go look up Yuin PK3 unless your an audiophile than look at Yuin PK2 or PK1 (need amp for PK1 so not good for mobile)

I have 3 pairs of headphones and would order them, but I also have 2 pairs of earbuds lol so not ordering them :D (plus I have actually $0.23 in my bank right now)

I got a 2nd pair of Logitech Triple.Fi 10's with plans to get custom ear molds for them, but yeah that never happened so maybe I should sell them.

I have the Triple Fi 10s also (on your recommendation). They too good at blocking sound for me. I only game at work and they make it near impossible to hear what is happening around me. One day it will get me in trouble. Fortunately my ATH-AD700s don't have that problem, but they are not portable, so they stay at my home station, but I am only there 50-60% of the time.

Yeah triple.fi 10 are like monitors they are supposed to block all the sound out.

Like I said to ntheo for earbuds to listen and not block out sound I like the Yuin PK's they use the non in ear canal style so they are comfortable and also dont inherently block sound out from other things around you.

Thank for the Yuin PK recommendation.

It might be a bit out of my budget as a student but I'm also looking at the Sennheiser MX 580 which also got good reviews.

These earbuds are sick for the money. I can't believe they reduced the price to $15.

I got these the other day, wow, its like crystal clear music with solid bass in my head. I dont even know they are there except that the outside world sorta fades out, you can still hear some things, but it does weaken outside noise by sitting right in your ear canal and making a solid seal.

The bass on these are stronger then I expected for buds. However I have yet to be dissapointed in a pair of Sennheisser headphones.

I also got a pair of over the ear, closed hd201 from new egg on the cheap awhile ago. For the price to performance ratio you cant beat them imo.

Agreed ^. I got mine a week ago and I tested them out with an mp3 on my desktop - the imperial march from star wars. The bass was unlike what I've experienced before with logitech over the ear headphones.
