Man i paid $35 for these headphones and that was the cheapest i could find them for 5 months ago. I absolutely love them though, great pair for anyone that wants in-ear headphones.
-
That's great news to hear!I'm hoping they are going to be good for running, biking, etc

I could use a new pair of earbuds. I don't know anything about them though. Are these good?

I spoke with Sennheiser at CES, and they told me that there are piles of internet retailers selling counterfeit headphones, including the CX300-B. Seeing that 6ave.com isn't an authorized retailer, I think you all may have just been duped.
If you want some serious giant-killer headphones, pay just a bit more and get a pair of Grados SR60. If you really need luscious buttery leather cans, the Sennheiser HD280s work too.
If you need in ear headphones, for the love of god stay away from the Sony MDR EX-51s, they will rot your ears and give you herpes. Instead, pick out a SHURE in-ear headphone, SE series, at the price you can handle. Etymotic and Ultimate Ear are also two other brands to look for, they are very good for their cost.
Don't get me started on BOSE. I could write for hours about their marketing ploys, bottom-tier manufacturing quality, and ridiculous pricing. -
I have been there for several times. It does not looked like a company that sells fake products.
btw, JR sells this product at quite low price too, around 22~30ish.
I think the low price is because of new product line that Sennheiser just released not long ago. -
6ave is a B&M electronics store, I doubt they are selling fakes.
-
For now, I will trust they are the real thing.
There is no reason not to. It's a gamble you take when ordering online.
I checked around, the site is legit & so are the products sold.

The Fire Snake Notebook Virtuoso
What about Amazon? They have these for a good price too. Are they selling the Legit ones?

Do people even like asymmetrical cables? I've never seen someone complain about weight.
-
I heard they are good if you are a runner.

If I'm wrong, foot goes in mouth. I'd hate to make a false accusation against a reputable company, because retailer <---> buyer trust is everything.
When you receive them, if they work very well, they're probably legit. If they aren't legit, yet still work well, there wouldn't be that all that much to complain about anyways.
From what I've read, asymmetrical cables tend to get caught on the neck/shoulders while you're jogging. It really depends on the thickness of the cable, along with the nature of the rubber/synthetic coating. -
I have just received it yesterday, and when I was testing the sound, I turned on the volume a lil bit and BOOM, the right side is not giving out anymore sound.
What a disappointment.
I am returning this right away.
The bud is comfortable and all, the cord is a lil bit on the short side, and sound quality is not too bad. -
good deal. too much bass though. makes it all muddy...
