Ready to buy (can't decide between i9300 and dv4000, but that's a different thread), but I started to wonder: Would it be worth it to wait one month if there are going to be some good deals coming along for the Xmas shopping season?

I've never looked into it before, but with all the coupons Dell throws around, and the decent discounts that HP has, will there be extra savings come the day-after-Thanksgiving.

With student discounts and coupons and stuff, I can already get a $1900 i9300 down to about $1350, and the DV4000 down from $1600 to $1300. But I'd hate to buy today and miss out on one of those $750 coupons that people talk about from the good ol' days.

Take your deal now and move on. Even a $750 coupon will net you a savings of $100, assuming they hav ea config that you want.

Dell and HP wont likely participate in Black Friday.
