The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I just went to Staples in Toronto and got them to match their online deal which expires April 11th. The deal is you buy the Toshiba M100-JG2 for $1,599.85 and the Linksys WRT54GC Wireless-G Router for $69.95 and they give you an instant savings of $249.95. The router comes with a mail-in rebate for $30 so that takes off another chunk.

    They have an in-store bundle deal for the same laptop and a different linksys router for $1500 but the online deal is much better.
