Quick question, did Game Stop charge pre-orders immediately or do they only charge your credit card when they ship?

It's convinced me to get the game when it comes out.

 

Another way to do it if you want the standard edition is to buy two and use the "25off" coupon code. You lose the free 3 day shipping, but you can get free snail mail shipping. Two copies cost ~$90 + tax. I'm gonna do this for me and a friend.

Plus it gives you beta access.

I did it and it accepted it. I added one Starcraft standard edition ($59.99), in my cart changed the quantity to 2 and clicked the "update" button. Then I entered the code "25off" in the coupon field, applied it and it took it. Make sure that there isn't another coupon listed on your cart page. There's a red circle with a white X in it, click it to delete that offer. Then apply the 25off coupon.

 

Try to check out with it, not just add it to cart.

They are few and far between. I heard some people were getting additional invites but not many. Not sure who they're going to. Just pre-order and you'll get beta access.

A lot of people in the Computer Science club at my university have gotten the beta key. The new game looks fantastic.

 

Where have u been?? u could always buy sc on eBay pretty cheaply to get a taste of what the gameplay is like. Pretty much the same as wc.

 

Pre-order the game, get a key, if you don't like it, cancel your pre-order. Just check with where you order it from first if that's allowable.

 

I hope when Starcraft II is "finally" released, that the quality of the game will survive the hype equal to the cost of their collector's edition.

 

The transaction shows as "pending" in my bank account....it's almost here.

 

RIP SC2 Beta, it was fun while it lasted.

Starcraft happens to be huge at my school, and there's no question that we have a stacked roster. I can't wait for the full release.
