So, it turns out if you're buying a computer over $2000, you save a good chunk of money if you have a 40% off coupon.
However, since none are up on ebay right now, the best you can do is $750 off. Which is still substantial (enough so that you'd be stupid to buy when you have neither).
My question is: do you guys think the 40% will come back before long, or is the $750 the best I'm going to get? I'd wait for the extra savings. But I don't want to wait very long.

Wasn't there an additional $100 off for 2K spent? All in total of $850 off, thought I saw that recently.
-
yeah, they had the $100 off, but apparently it's no longer good, because it doesn't even show up when I enter it. Thanks for the tip, though.
-
It is expired -
im sure that will come again, really though 850/2100= 40% so it's just as good...i dont know what else can be stacked on these coupons.
-
I would wait for a stackable $100 off coupon that stacks with the $750 for $850 off $1999+ Then you can use a dell preferred card to save 2% then a fatwallet.com account to save another 3%. So you could end up getting a 45% off discount.

off, at least you could a month ago. Im gonna check them again right now.
Im in the same boat as you, im wating to strike on the best deal for the e1705, its a bit clunky, and not the prettiest lappy out there but it sure is a solid tank of a machine, and alot of bang for the buck -
thanks -
anyone how fatwallet works ppl?
pls explain to me -
Fat Wallet has an " Animated Tour" on how the process works on their website. It's pretty simple really. You sign up, log into your account, pick from the available retailers/websites to purchase the item from, then buy. A couple of days later you get an email stating how much cashback you get. You can keep the money there or ask them to cut you a check.
The most important thing is that you must log into the Fat Wallet website first and use their links to get to the other websites. I'm guessing the website owners pay Fat Wallet some kind of fee for this. -
thanks heinkenman2000, but can i use fatwallet to buy for epp? or does it only work with home/office?
-
ahhh, thanks for the help on the fatwallet. i didnt understand how to do it either
-
how can i find the $100 off when it comes out? Will it be posted on this site? Ebay? or is there another better way?
-
-
I'd wait for a 40% off coupon, especially when purchasing through EPP. If you stack the 40% off coupon with the 12% off for getting a 3 year warranty, you have 52% off! Once tax and shipping is chucked in, it usually levels out to be 50% off.
-
well...with EPP, it was basically 46% off. if you chose the laptop all the way to the left, it had 34%. then if u added the other 12% from EPP, it was 46%
-
Does anyone have a 750 of 2000 coupon right now? Dell had them listed on the EPP site, now they are gone
Take the $750 off or wait for a 40%?
