Hey- thieves can enter your house through your windows but that doesn't mean you don't lock your doors anymore.

No, it doesn't 100% protect against thefts. That's why it's called a deterrent.

It was originally free AR, but it turned out that was a Circuit City price mistake. And because you can't change thread titles on NBR, the inaccurate title is one we have to live with.

By the way, this deal now sucks. Move on, people.

Not a bad deal, I hate dealing with rebates tho.

I think I much prefer the 15$ motion sensor lock for sale to this, the cable is smaller but it has an audible alarm and is motion sensitive thats much more valuble to me.

Actually, the reviews for that motion sensor lock are terrible. The lock changes combinations by itself after a few months and you have to go through 10,000 combinations to try to figure out what the hell it did. And the motion sensor is too sensitive. Visit Amazon.com to find repeat indictments of the motion sensor lock.

Its mechanical not electronic so dont see how it can change its own combo :/

Motion sensor too sensitive??? hows that possible? Your not supposed to use the notebook while its on, your supposed to leave it locked up and want to keep people away. I have a feeling your just going by a few bad reviews and not personal experience, whole Gophin has like a years worth of time with it and no problems. I cant say I have had any problems myself eather.

I'm not going on a few reviews. If there are that many people who report a similar problem, then the problem is very real. It's not like its 3 trolls trying to cause trouble. You and Gophin are 2 happy customers. There are many, many, many more than 2 unhappy customers. Reviews are personal experiences. To ignore reviews is to be idiotic.

i think the software can be brought from compusa is more useful than this locker.
i can't remember what it is name.

    1 year for 49.99 3 year for 99.9

The rep told me if your computer is stolen , you can report to that company, those guys will track your computer location(if your computer connect internet) . then they will call the police to get it back.

if they can't , they will refund for you

if you are student, they can give you a deal 49.9 for 3 years
