This one works for me. These are really nice to have, I have downloaded a ton of free books from amazon for my Kindle. They even have a few free games you can play on your Kindle!

 

Oh I know. It's only the screen size. Bigger one would be more suited for what I intended to use it, mainly reading 2-column research papers and tons of textbooks I have in PDF. But the bigger one is a bit more expensive, in fact I think it's better to just buy iPad as a book reader in that case.... its very similar in price.

Btw, is there a difference between the one you linked, and this one:

(except for the color).... they all look the same to me, except for the screen size.

 

That is the new version I believe, it just has Wifi.. : )

Just ordered Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB 7.2k RPM and OCZ Vertex 2 60GB SSD for a friend of mine. He'll refund me once I come home. I threw in a 8GB micro SD card for my new Sansa Fuze (cheers!) and it end up being $192.

There are a lot of movie deals going on. The question now is can I score a blu-ray player on BF and start collecting Blu-ray movies.

 

Yes, there are a few stores that have good deals on Blu-Ray players. Amazon just had the LG BD570 for $117 a few days ago. Now, it's back to normal price. (I missed that one, coulda gotten for less w/a Gift Card I had).

I think Best Buy & Target are promoting ones w/Wifi for their BF sales (the ones with Built-In Wife are pretty nice).

I like the Target deal. I think if I can get that online then I will be happy. Otherwise I enjoy sleep too much to be waking up early and fighting with the crowds.

You guys have been fooled. Cin' is actually a bot created by NBR so it doesn't actually need sleep...except when the CPU gets too hot.

On a side note, if anyone see an Intel 80GB SSD for around 120$, please let me know. Or a 60GB with Sandforce controller for not over $80 for that matter. I know those are really killer prices, but if it's not killer, then I don't consider it a deal.

Its quite a steal with the hp laptop I found from staples. They have a laptop that is similar to the HP laptop that Best Buy was selling on Black Friday.

Only difference the laptop is silver, and the hard drive is 350 instead of 500 like best buy had.

This laptop does have a blu ray player, fingerprint reader and a backlit keyboard which put me on board.

I was trying to customize one on Hp to similar specs but they were more expensive.


I'm gonna order it before it sells out on me again.

 

Currently checking out Amazon's TV deals. Looking decent.

A steal? It costs $50 more on the HP website. THat's the configuration with 6GB RAM and 500GB HD. You can even get it cheaper if you don't need Bluray. On top of that, there's usually 10% off EPP student discounts and such.... Its still a consumer-build quality laptop without a dedicated graphics for $600. Meh.

Do you guys even look what the regular price is or just blindly take everything that's claimed a discount on BF, a "steal" ?
