Wonder what kind of battery it has, just says 'Lithium ion'. Anyone know what this "Topseller" business means?

Edit: clicked on Extended Specs, it's a 6 cell. Dur.

Edit again: learned what Topseller through the magic of Google. Double durrrr.

    Price jumped to $1420

Cost central is great, I bought a thinkpad from them a couple of years ago- but MAN do they yank their prices around.

Recently I was ON THE PHONE placing an order for what looked like a great deal on a entry level t60 for $883. Right before my eyes it jumped to $955. And that was the price.

Nice people, but that will piss you off.

I ordered with 12 left in stock on Friday and today I got a poorly-crafted email saying they were out of stock when I ordered, and what would I like to do now?

How unprofessional is that? It's a good price so I think I'm going to wait it out.

Wow, what a terrible experience this has been.

    1) Ordered with 10 in stock, they put it on backorder claiming they were out of stock. They asked via email if I wanted to wait for it to come back in stock or cancel the order. I replied asking how long they thought it would be, but they never wrote back.
    2) Get an email the next day saying my order was on hold until I call them. I called and they said they hadn't heard from me about whether or not I wanted to wait for it on backorder. I told them I replied by email to their question, but they had no record of that. Told them over the phone that I would like to wait for it. They gave me an estimated ship date of 7/9. I didn't think that was too bad.
    3) Surprise, they emailed me on 6/20 to say they had them. Yes! They needed me to confirm that I still wanted it, which I did in an email reply.
    4) Get a duplicate email the next day. Obviously they ignored my first email. I called them to say YES PLEASE SEND IT TO ME. They confirmed over the phone.
    5) Received yesteday, 6/25. There was no padding of any kind between the Lenovo box and shipping box. Lots of crushed up kraft paper on top though. Gee thanks, good job.
    6) Lo and behold, tons of BSODs and random errors and restarts as I tried to get everything up to speed.
    7) Emailed them today to straight up return it. I'm not sure if the problems are due to it getting jostled around in transit or the general issues people have been reporting but I'm not taking any chances. I'm never dealing with these clowns again.

I will, I'm just going to wait until it's returned and the charges removed so I can tell the complete story. Since the last post they've asked me for the serial number to process the RMA because they didn't keep a record of it. Duh!
