    If it had problems the first time around, how is it going to be great the second time they sell it? Don't Gateways have a high repair rate anyway?

    for me i have to pay tax.. no thanks i bought 5 total of these at best buy for 879 brand new.. so this imo is still expensive for refurb's.. i sold mine for more but bb had them clearanced out

    good luck i bought the last 5 they had at my best buy and i had to drive over 2 hours to go get them. they one employee i think was pissed because he wanted one and i grabbed all 5 of them

    So you spent 10 hours in total including the time you spent to sell them and made $2000. $200 an hour rate. How can you survive whit this kind of return?

    I bought a refurbed P-6860FX from Tigerdirect Canada and it came flawless. If I didn't know it was refurbed I would've thought it was brand new. The only reason I returned it almost two weeks later was for the P-7811FX being sold by Tigerdirect, so I exchanged it in and am getting a refund in the price difference. I'm hoping to have as good luck as I did the first time when I get my P-7811FX next week.

    From what I have seen so far they seem to be in "as new" condition. They also come with a no questions asked 30 day return policy and a 3 month warranty. Now ya can't beat that with a sharp stick in the eye. (keeping in mind as with most laptops the 7811 does have it's quirks, most of which if present can be ironed out quite easily) I look forward to seeing a heapload fer sale here in a month or two for like $1050.00 or so. :eek: Hee hee, this is kinda exciting. :D

    I bought one from a friend of mine who works at a Best Buy for $1250.00 just a few days ago and it looked ZACTLY like the refurb ones from Tiger Direct. But they're only $750.00. lol Honestly guys, this is a tremendous deal. How many USED 7811s have you seen for $750.00 on ebay or in the forums? :confused:

    I bought a refurb 6860fx. Not from TigerDirect, but it was a gateway. It came in pristine condition, but the packaging material does have a card from Gateway that states that it could have cosmetic blemishes and these are normal for a refurb.

    So basically you are taking a chance that there are scratches, dents or something, but like was stated before, you can return if you are unhappy.

    only at select stores each store was allowed to set their own prices. it was funny there was another best buy within 20min of this one that was asking 100$ more i had to tell them to call the other store to price match them..
