    I thought it was free since the beginning of time.

    This is probably the only racing game I prefer keyboard over a controller or wheel.

    Then there is Trackmania United Forever, which has a ton more tracks, but costs money.

    Yup there's 2 TrackMania's free and paid..
    The free version after a few races on a server you gotta watch one then you can keep racing.

    I think you can also at that point just move to a new server and keep going. The paid you also get new cars ect too I thinik?
