Do all 4000 systems that those Dell coupons are good for get used up within like the first hour? I was trying to use one and I coulnd't get any of them to work.

from what ive seen...they just say that so you are "encouraged" to buy a laptop right then and there. ive been looking at dell deals since april/may, and ive even used a coupon (to test it), at the last possible second, and it still works. so unless 4000 people arent interested in dells, then it looks like there is no limit

Yeah, Maybe I was doing something wrong, but it kept saying that I didn't qualifty for the coupon. I just figured 4000 had already been used, but maybe it was something else?

my expierence with applying dell coupons is that there is a trick to it on some direct links that you may try to upgrade ;) . It has to do with what the e-code is like. this last week I believe it was that if you go to the e-code enter in "6VAFF-e1505s2 or 11111-e1505s2 (xxxxx-xxxxxs1,2,3)(example) and hit enter it would take you to a model that you can configure. Some of the specials they have configured so that it will not take a coupon on say like the middle two but it will on the last one with the right coupon. It has alot to do with the evalue-code that you are configuring. At least that seems to be the pattern with some of the ones I've been pricing. Sneaky huh? keep searching links for codes and you can find some pretty good deals out there, I know I have, and kicked my self on a couple that I let get by, I'm just waiting for them to roll around again for there seems to be a pattern as to their deals. Good Luck - and let me know if you find a blow out bargain. :D

by the time you read the other post the code will be expired and new ones will be issued. you might try these sites that i've been watching for dell deals and they usually have links right to them...xpbargains.com (updated daily), dealsatnet.com and bradsdeals.com are just a few.
