    I just came back from circuit city after noticing this on fatwallet (both cc's within ten miles of me had them in stock).

    The closest store literally had over fifty on the shelf! lol Didn't look like even one was missing. I was just going to get it for the velcro foam dividers, but they each only had one of those inside. Thought about taking a few out of others, but I couldn't bring myself to scam something that's nearly free. Not like they'd care- it appears as if they literally can't give these things away.

    They're actually not all that bad, not alot of padding, one stitch seams some of which unraveling already, but pad it yourself and if it lasts even a year you got your moneys worth!

    The rebate is not coming out because you did not purchase a notebook. If you read down below, it says rebate with purchase of any notebook. kinda sucks though

    Technically it is still alive since the rebate offer PAK94 still exists. In fact, you can go to the Circuit City rebate center and print it out if you do a search for "PAK94." There are also various screenshots/pdf's of the website saying you can get the rebate without the purchase of a notebook. I think Circuit City can say very little in the face of this proof.

    Ouch. I've never had problems with CC rebates before. Maybe after this little deal, whether or not it works, I will stop shopping from Circuit City.

    Luckily since it's not technology where some open boxes are subject to restocking, you can still return it if you are not 100% confident.

    It's worth it for free, but for $40- no WAY.

    At work so I haven't watched the video... But last year on black friday I bought about 6 items, sent out 8 rebates to CC and got them all back within 4 months.

    Just got an email from the rebate center saying it is being processed. I suspect I will get the rebate.
