This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Great drive getting cheaper! :D Tiger Direct has the Western Digital Scorpio Black 320GB 16MB cache 2.5" notebook drive for $69.99 plus shipping. If you search Bing.com for "computers" then you might get a link for up to 15% cash back.

    I did this and got 2 drives for $139.98 + $1.99 shipping - $21 Bing cash back for a net of $60.49 per drive.

    TD's cash back amount fluctates between 5% and 15% it seems, so good luck.
