This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I was gonna buy a Lenovo R61 with T8300 and 1650x1080, but they ended the 15% offer 12 hrs early, so that didn't work out. Does anyone know if they might do that again soon? I'm from Denmark, and only in LA until March 3rd, so it has to be one I can get before that date.

    Needs:
    Processor: Penryn (any)
    GFX: GF8400/140M minimum
    Memory: 1GB minimum (I'm gonna upgrade to Vista64 and 4GB when I get back home)
    HDD: 80GB minimum (gonna upgrade that one to)
    Resolution: 1650x1080
    Screen: 1st = 15,4" - 2nd = 17" (matte prefered)

    Btw... this is mostly an "is Lenovo gonna do another 15% coupon soon?" post :)
