When you customize the HP noteboook, how do you know you are getting a version that is eligble for the $100 off coupon? I understand that if they are in the same series, it will just be a difference in the number, but how do you know which you are getting?

I don't think the $100 rebate applies to the zd700. zd7000 is only eligible for $50 rebate.

 

I tried the Dell rebate coupon code for my $2300 inspiron just now, but it didn't affect the price at all. It said something about not being eligible.

How do you get these coupon codes anyways?
