    Hi, Cin! Great deal! Also...

    Best Buy has the MyPassport Essential 500GB portable external in black and silver on sale for 119.99 this week. (The only differences other than cosmetic between the Elite and Essential line are, IIRC, software differences and a capacity gauge on the Elite line.)

    I just picked up two of the MyPassport 500gbs from my local BestBuy in silver for the 119.99. They were disappearing off the shelves in the BestBuys in this area pretty quickly. I got the last two silver.

    I ordered it yesterday, paid via PayPal..got both confirmations from PayPal and buy.com, right after...and then this morning I awake to my order being cancelled and money refunded...because I have an unconfirmed addy. with PayPal. :mad:

    I'm not done with PayPal yet!! Grrr... :( They are still holding my money. (I have purchased several things via PayPal, and never ran into this problem).

    So, I will have to purchase thru buy.com itself...no biggie. But I will never use PayPal again.

    Will advise, once I finally receive it! :D

    WD Portables rock. I have 2 500GB WD portables myself, but I also love the Toshibas...

    Definitely get one of the Case Logic cases for yours. They retail at 19.99, but BB usually has them on sale every few weeks for 9.99. They come in black, red or blue, and really protect your portable when travelling. They also hold the USB cable and any accompanying thumb drives you might want to carry too.

    The cases are great, Cin. I actually use them for a myriad of purposes. I have each portable I own in its own case, but also use one for my iphone and accessories, and one for the adapter cords in my car (ie iphone, GPS, etc.)

    You're going to love it, Cin. When I'm on the plane, I see other people popping in DVDs...I just connect my portable and am not just limited to one movie. I can skip around from movie to movie, TV show to TV show.

    Trust me...you will become addicted!

    Yes I'm looking forward to getting one..I didnt realize how tiny the WD Portable HD's were, til I removed it from the box!!! Its just a bit larger than my LG Voyager cell phone LOL :D And, it was easy to use..and worked very well :cool:
