    Try going into the dell chat thingy and tell the guy about the coupon, I checked it before applying it, and it worked, but just to make sure, i asked one of these guys to apply it for me as well, so yes, it worked...
    remember its in the US site also :D

    What makes no sense to me is i configured a 1530 myself and it came out to about 1564. I selected this 1530 configured it and it still came out to about 1564. maybe 10bux cheaper. i dont see how you got $1200. all i added was the upgraded lcd to the highest resolution and the 9cell battery.

    also that coupon expired :(

    So without coupon, it will be $1550, which is what you are getting.

    Thank you for your original post back on 12/18. ;) I was able to land in that small window of opportunity (I ordered 12/19) and grab an XPS 1530 on the cheap using the automatic Dell discount and coupon code you provided. All this for only $1,179! I would have preferred XP, but it wasn't an option, and for this price I'll get over it....also included next day shipping.

    Some in this post questioned whether the systems would be processed at all, however mine has shipped and is due today. Thanks again for the tip. :)
