Nice, thanks. Might just have to load up my account. Whenever my nieces and nephew are over I end up spending $5-$10 on Live Arcade games.

I emailed Amazon.com to see if they will price match this deal. It would save me on tax. :)

Regular price for a 4000 points card is $49.99. Microsoft has said they plan on changing their exchange rate for XBL purchases to be more in line with Nintendo and Sony who use real money value.

Here's how things breakdown for XBL purchases.

    4000 points = $50
    3200 points = $40
    1600 points = $20
    800 points = $10
    400 points = $5
    200 points = $2.50
    100 points = $1.25
    50 points = .75 cents

Amazon has not yet priced match. If the Dell deal is still available I would take it as you're only saving taxes.

Can I really buy those smaller increments for points?

I thought the smallest was 400 points, where can I get 200 points or 100 point increments?

    LOL, noob :D

No the 400/200/100 are transaction amounts on XBL. XBL points cards are sold in 1600 and 4000 points, currently. I believe Microsoft is suppose to announce at E3 the new XBL currency which falls in line with Sony's and Nintendo. The current XBL Market Place points system is very confusing and you need to breakdown the formula so as to figure out how much you're really paying. :)

That's what sux about the current Microsoft XBL Market Place currency. With Sony you can outright purchase even amounts or buy what you want without anything left over. And you have fallen for as others have as to why MS used the current system so you just have enough left over that you can't buy anything good so you'd have to buy more then have more left over.

    The cycle never ends.
