    DVD-CDRW combo drive. Not even $299 laptops have those anymore. Maybe it's a mistake in the specs.

    Wow, heads up...

    They also raised the price to $1759.00. I am so sick of companies raising prices because of bing's cashback. As far as I am concerned, it is such a shady service that I would pay the extra money to get it from a more legitament site that offers some kind of return police that has a lower price before bing's cashback.

    Bing's cashback is one big risk...If you are willing to take the risk of it working then great, but it does not work well for everyone.

    Man I just snuck in under the wire on this one. They had still moved the price to $1679, but a few minutes after my purchase had jacked it up even higher. If Microsoft is subsidizing this I can't see why they would try and be greedy by hiking their own prices....

    HAHA guys i just bought one, and i mite be the one to blame for the price increase. Happened right after i bought mine for 1680USD...once again, coincidence???? i think not.

    here's my theory. they have limited stocks, so once they lose say 1 of em, they have say...4 left so they charge more cuz the deal is still hot, so they can maximize profits cuz pl will still buy it. i mean, even if it was 1760 right now, i would still buy it.

    also on the bright side, its actually only 64USD more when you include the 20% + 100 rebate. 1244 USD vs 1308 USD. Its a really good deal right now, get it while you can or you will regret it...lol

    on the bad side...you need to phone em for confirmation and their business hours closed 45 mins ago...so i need to confirm it tomorrow. what do you guys think, if my shipping status is at 1680USD, then they cant charge the current price of 1760USD?
